SRM University

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, or Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology, formerly known as SRM University, is a private deemed university located in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras.

SRM University Chennai, Kattankulathur campus is ranked as one of the best private engineering university. Formerly known as SRM Institute of Technology, it has been granted the status of a full-fledged University in the year 2006.
