Welcome to Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. We strive to provide up-to-date clinical and research information in appropriate educational formats so that participants are able to improve their knowledge, skills, attitudes, behaviors, and the clinical outcomes for their patients. Our program consists of educational activities which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that physicians use to provide services for patients. It includes primary care, and specialty topics (such as gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, psychiatry, general surgery, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine) in the field of medicine. As a result of these educational activities, we foster the continuing professional development of health care professionals. Our offerings are intended to enhance physician and other health care professionals training in a manner that will positively affect professional knowledge with the goal of improving patient care. KUMS is committed to reassessing the impact of programs and educational activities through qualitative and quantitative methods to ensure that these goals are met.
