People's Friendship University of Russia (RUDN)
Overview
People's Friendship University of Russia (PFUR), also known as RUDN University, was founded on
5 February 1960 by the USSR Government. In 1961, it was named after
Patrice Lumumba, a symbol of the African peoples' fight for independence.
The University is located in Moscow, Russia’s capital city, known for its
900-year-old legendary history, vibrant culture, and status as the
educational, industrial, and business hub of Russia.
Moscow has around 200 universities, offering world-class and affordable education

Medical Faculty
The Medical Faculty of RUDN University is well-respected both in Russia and

Admission Process
To apply for admission at the Medical Faculty of RUDN University, applicants must provide the
following documents via email to the Admissions Office:
- Copy of the first 4 pages of a valid International Passport
- Copy of Higher Secondary School Certificate
- Filled Application Form
- Payment receipt of Invitation/Visa processing fees (paid to the Coordinator for foreign students)
Based on these documents, the University will issue an official invitation letter
for a student visa, approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Upon arrival, students must
present their original educational certificates, attested or apostilled by the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
